战斗系统：战线扩大各势力支配的土地将由各自不同颜色作为区分，能以视觉直观地确认战线分布。基本的战斗方式将为进攻敌军支配地区，夺取土地并扩大己方战线。此外部队一次可占领的土地范围，将依部队阵形与兵力的变化而变化。一定地区的土地集合被称之为地区，势力以地域单位管理土地。佔领管理地区的「府」即可获得该地区的支配权，从而获得该地区给予的收入来支援出征中的部队。要进攻哪块土地、要压制哪个地区进军……根据自身描绘的战线方略，战局将发生大幅改变。

将许昌周围地区全部压制，封锁敌方都市兵站断绝出征中的部队若能与出征地之间有自势力支配的土地连结，就能维持拥有「兵站」(补给线)的状态，以万全的态势进行战斗。因此，部队与出征地间的土地若被夺走，与出征地的连结完全被截断，该部队就会受到士气低下与状态异常等影响从而被弱体化。与敌人部队的交战当中，可边以一支部队阻止敌人，边以具机动力的部队绕至敌人后方阻断补给线等，以多角度享受围绕兵站的攻防乐趣。
